Overall Purpose: To support our private labor and employment law team, working in single plaintiff claims and actions, and class and representative actions.
Essential Job Duties:
Manage assigned cases with the ability to perform the full range of litigation paralegal tasks from case inception through discovery, trial, post-trial and case closure
Assist in the preparation of discovery requests and responses, including responses such as form interrogatories, special interrogatories and requests for production of documents
Perform document review and productions
Provide support for dispositive motions, exhibits and citations
Conduct background and social media searches
Prepare timelines and chronologies
Qualifications/Requirements:
Paralegal Certificate required; Bachelor’s Degree, preferred
5+ years of law firm experience, preferred
Proficient using Excel with the ability to perform data entry, formatting, formulas, tabs, etc.
Excellent proofreading skills
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize workload and work effectively under pressure
Interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and follow instructions from a diverse group of attorneys in a professional and businesslike manner
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work in a team environment
Excellent client service
Ability to research and analyze large amounts of data
