Doppelt and Forney is a growing boutique law firm specializing in Family Law and is seeking a motivated associate who is looking to grow along with the firm in a supportive fast paced environment.
This position is for a full-time Family Law Associate Attorney who has a strong work ethic, is reliable, punctual, responsible, has a good rapport with clients, and has a good attitude working in a friendly environment.

Primary Job Duties
Effective communication with clients, staff, opposing attorneys, and the court.
Make court appearances.
Prepare, review, and edit legal documents, including but not limited to declarations, Memorandum of Points and Authorities, motions, and discovery.
Audit and edit legal forms and documents for accuracy.
Assist with case management and meeting deadlines.
Prepare for hearings and trial preparations
Perform miscellaneous job duties related to the position.
Efficient billing.
Education/Experience
Licensed by California State Bar and in good standing.
Minimum of one year of Family Law experience required to be considered for position.
Thorough knowledge of legal principle & practices.
Must possess critical thinking skills, planning and organizing skills.
Strong communication skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
Proficient computer knowledge/skills.
Proficient in Word Perfect, Word, Essential Forms, Google Calendar, and DissoMaster.
Experience with Infusion Soft, TimeSolv, and Attorney’s Briefcase a plus.
Ability to handle multiple job duties effectively and efficiently.
Individual must be reliable, dependable, with a positive, professional attitude and demeanor.
