Probate Legal Assistant

Antonyan Miranda, LLP is one of the largest family law firms in California with the state-of-the-art offices in downtown San Diego.
We are hiring a legal assistant in our probate practice.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to case management, drafting documents, ensuring all deadlines are met, organizing files, preparation of documents to the court and working on cases ranging from financial investigations into trust accountings to capacity challenges.
Qualifications: 1-year minimum experience HS Diploma a must.
Practices superior time management.
Maintains excellent writing and language skills.
Makes evident good technical understanding and can pick up new tools quickly.
Possesses great ability to identify potential negative or crisis situation and apply conflict resolution principles to mitigate issues.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
Must be able to investigate, document and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
Must possess the ability to generate trust and build relationships with co-workers.
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times to protect the privacy of employees and clients.
Responsibilities and Duties: Scan and save incoming and outgoing case documents.
Communicate with clients and opposing counsel.
Manage and maintain calendar and deadlines for case load.
Maintain electronic case files.
Coordinate filing and service of all pleadings and discovery requests or responses.
Proofread and format all pleadings and discovery requests/responses.
Organize trial binders and exhibits.
Prepare attorney hearing files/binders for upcoming hearings.
Assist in preparing and gathering documents.
Prepare documents for court filing and track status of all pending orders.
Assist in drafting and preparing legal documents.
