Antonyan Miranda, LLP is hiring a litigation paralegal to join our growing team with at least three years of recent work experience civil/trust litigation.
We seek a long-term addition to our team to be an important role in our continued growth.
This paralegal position would be working with attorneys and a senior paralegal in a collegial environment on cases ranging from financial investigations into trust accountings to capacity challenges.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Minimum of 3 years of recent experience in civil/trust litigation
Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat
Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
Must be self-motivated with the ability to work independently
Strong research, logical reasoning, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent grammar and proofreading skills are essential.
The ideal candidate can be described as enthusiastic, articulate, a quick-study, friendly, dependable, punctual, a team player and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Current notary public commission a plus.
RESPONSIBILITIES/JOB DUTIES:
eFiling and service of court documents
Draft and format, edit and proofread documents with attention to detail.
Calendar hearings, related deadlines, and associated tasks to complete
Preparation of cases for hearings/trial
Communicate with clients as needed.
Manage and organize case files.
