Compensation:
$180,000 - $220,000 yearly
Responsibilities:
Keep apprised of changes to local, state, and federal statutes and laws
Counsel associates to resolve or prevent conflicts
Prepare for and attend trials, mediation, and arbitration hearings
Draft legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, notices, and discovery requests and responses
Complete legal research and prepare motions, pleadings, and briefs
Drafting revocable and irrevocable trusts
Handling probate and trust administration cases from start to finish
Supervising more junior members of the team
Managing client relationships
Assisting with business development initiatives
Qualifications:
Work independently while handling a heavy caseload
Exceptional time management and interpersonal skills are desired, as are exceptional writing and verbal communication skills
At least 5 years of experience working as a senior associate attorney
Completion of a 4-year bachelor’s degree, as well as 3-year law degree from an accredited law school
Active member in good standing with local and state bar associations
