Education Law Attorney - Full time
Location: La Mesa, CA
Annual Salary Range (based on experience): $90K+
Required Qualifications:
2 to 7 years of experience in education, public entities, or labor relations.
Experience working in a California school or college as a teacher, administrator, or school employee.
Must be a member in good standing of the California Bar.
Strong academic credentials, and excellent writing, research, and communication skills.
Ability to work on a broad array of legal matters arising in the representation of public education entities.
Flexibility and initiative to adapt to changing circumstances and new legal developments.

Job Description
What you will be doing:
Representing school districts, community college districts, university auxiliary organizations, and public charter, and private schools in legal matters related to governance, labor relations, Title IX services, harassment and discrimination complaints, investigations, school facilities, and student discipline.
Conducting legal research, writing legal briefs and opinions, and providing legal advice to clients.
Managing cases and projects independently, while working effectively in a team environment.
Maintaining a high level of attention to detail and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
