A biotechnology company in California is looking to add a new Administrative Assistant to their Legal Department at one of their facilities in the Greater San Diego area.
In this role, the Administrative Assistant will be responsible for providing high quality office support services to the Legal Department with focus on Contracts and Intellectual Property teams.
Responsibilities:
The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for:
Assisting with scanning, word processing, filing, copying, data input, calendaring, and scheduling various meetings
Updating and maintaining electronic files for department
Preparing various documents/templates used by department
Provide direct administrative assistance and support to the General Counsel, as needed
Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
4+ years of experience in an Administrative Support and/or Office Management role
Associate’s Degree
Working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat and SharePoint
Microsoft Office proficient (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.
)
Exceptional phone etiquette
Great interpersonal skills
Excellent communications kills (written and verbal)
Strong attention to detail
highly organized
Desired Skills:
Bachelor's Degree
Experience in a Legal role/setting
