*Job Description:*
*TITLE: *ExperiencedFamily Law Attorney
*EXPERIENCE: *3+ years practicing in family law, *strongly preferred.
*
*TYPE: *Full-time (Monday - Thursday 9AM-5PM; Friday 9AM - 12PM)
*YOU:*
* Excellent skills with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.
) Adobe, Clio, Lawyaw & Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, etc.
)
* Experience with Judicial Council Forms
* Experience with CFLR Programs (DissoMaster, Executioner, Propertizer)
* Great communication & writing skills
* Experience with calendaring, local filing procedures, and the California Rules of Court
* Experience with discovery deadlines, discovery request/responses
* Excellent organizational & interpersonal skills
* "Can-do" positive attitude
* Maintains good attendance and punctuality
* Must be detail-oriented with excellent follow-through to meet multiple deadlines
* Ability to prioritize and multitask with meticulous attention to detail and results
* Strong time management skills, punctuality, and commitment to meeting all deadlines
* Have thick skin and can meet difficult/emotional clients with empathy and positivity
*RESPONSIBILITIES:*
This is a full-time position, Monday-Thursday, 9:00am to 5:00pm and Fridays 9:00am –
12:00pm
* Manage own active case load
* Draft letters, pleadings, financial disclosures, mediation briefs, and trial briefs
* Propound and respond to discovery, prepare meet and confer letters, and prepare motions to compel
* Prepare deposition outlines and exhibits
* Defend and take depositions
* Prepare witness questions for evidentiary hearings and trial
* Conduct legal research and prepare memorandums
* Prepare for and attend ex parte hearings, RFO hearings, and other matters
* Routine client contact
* Ability to handle matters from inception to conclusion
* Track billable time
* Qualifications
*EXPERIENCE:*
* Must be admitted to and in good standing with the California bar
* Have a minimum of 3 years of family law attorney experience
* Strong analytical skills and oral communication skills
* Excellent writing skills
* Attention to detail and accurate work product is a must
* Ability and desire to meet deadlines
* Highly motivated professional with a positive, team player attitude
*LANGUAGE:*
* Proficient in English
* Proficient in Spanish, a plus
*PAY & BENEFITS:*
* Minimum base pay of $85,000, but negotiable DOE
