Collins is looking for a Senior Manager, Aftermarket Contracts.
In this position you will draft and negotiate commercial aerospace contracts for Rohr, Inc.
, a part of Collins Aerospace, ensuring Collins is accurately represented based on the approved business case from sales, finance and legal.
You will ensure all business functions (finance, legal, supply chain, and customer support) are aware of Contract rights and obligations, and coordinate with Legal to help craft compliant strategies for navigating commercial issues as they arise with our global customer base.
This position works onsite in our Chula Vista facility.

Primary Responsibilities: Drafting of Aftermarket commercial contract documents for: Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) Services agreements with commercial airlines and 3rd party MRO providers.
This also includes: Spare Parts agreements; Lease & Exchange agreements; Fleet Hour Agreements (long term fixed fee maintenance contracts with non-standard terms); Non-Disclosure Agreements; Intercompany Work Authorizations; etc.
Drafting Product Support Agreements with Airframe and Engine OEM's for new programs.
Lead contract negotiations as first chair with customers (in person where required).
Collaborate with multiple stakeholders (leadership; engineering; distribution center; technical services; maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) network) in negotiating and administering contracts.
Identify domestic and international legal compliance issues for review and mitigation in coordination with Legal CounseI and other subject matter experts as appropriate (e.
g.
, Global Trade, Antitrust, REACh, Tax, etc).
Redline and manage negotiation of terms with customers.
Summarize contracts for review with executive leadership Continuously improving and drafting original language for standard templates, standard work, and internal policies and procedures.
Performing legal research and providing contract language interpretation to understand and resolve issues and disputes Drafting program letters and whitepapers summarizing key commercial and contractual positions.
Collaborating, gathering approvals, and supporting negotiations with Business Development, Value Stream Leadership, and Legal personnel.
Maintaining a database and a Sharepoint site of templates and standard work.
Regular interface with senior level Executives, particularly Legal Counsel and Vice President of ASG Aftermarket.
Domestic and international travel may be required (~%5) Additional responsibilities associated with Collins Aerospace Aftermarket Continuous Improvement initiatives.
Qualifications/ Experience Needed: Typically requires a University Degree and a minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field (e.
g.
JD, MBA) and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience.
Experience with negotiating, drafting, and administering commercial contracts in the aerospace industry, preferably with commercial airlines and aircraft operators.
Experience leading contract negotiations as first chair with customers.
Experience with contract law and typical commercial contract terms and conditions.

The salary range for this role is 130,000 USD - 272,000 USD.
The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
