Overview:
Nelson Mullins is seeking an attorney to join its litigation team in the San Diego office.
As an AmLaw100 firm, this will offer a unique opportunity to a candidate who wants to be part of a dynamic team in a growing location and join a tenured team at an AmLaw 70 firm.
The ideal candidate has strong complex civil and commercial litigation experience working in a mid-size or large law firm.
A Day in the Life:
You will be joining a team of trial lawyers and litigators in San Diego who practice in the areas of complex litigation, products liability defense including knowledge of the Song-Beverly Act, including pharmaceuticals and medical devices, and class action litigation.
The team has tried numerous jury trials to verdicts in various jurisdictions as well as in state and federal court in California.
We Know You:
You have at least three years of meaningful litigation experience in complex litigation, class action, and products liability.
You are able to draft and prepare pleadings and discovery, prepare for, take, and defend depositions, manage document production, argue discovery and other motions, and adept at case management.
You are a first-rate communicator who possesses outstanding written and oral advocacy skills.
You will bring an entrepreneurial spirit to our growing office.
You possess exceptional oral and written advocacy skills and have strong communication skills.
You have excellent academic credentials, and you are admitted and in good standing with the California Bar.

Pursuant to the salary transparency provisions of the Pay Transparency for Pay Equity Act, please find the compensation range specific to this role based in the state of California.
San Diego, California pay range for this role, with final offer amount depending on experience is $175,000 - $225,000.
