CONAM is offering an exciting opportunity on the Regional Compliance team as a full-time Compliance Manager.

Pay Range: $ 81,000 - $83,000 / Year

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Must have a bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent experience.
2-4 years related experience.
Multi Family Management Industry experience required.
Knowledge of property management software platforms (Yardi, RealPage, etc.
) preferred.
Advance knowledge of Microsoft suite, including OneNote and Teams.
Ability to collaborate and build partnerships with multiple business units within a company.
Excellent professional written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail.
Senior-level supervision of HUD- and/or USDA-subsidized assets required.
Duties and responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Supervisory
Staff and manage the corresponding Compliance Analyst, Compliance Auditor, or Compliance Subsidy teams to ensure the regulatory obligations are achieved for the entire CONAM Management portfolio.
Recruit candidates, interview applicants and hire new team members when positions are open.
Reporting
Track state and local agency monthly/quarterly reports to ensure they are completed by property management and delivered as required.
Training
Identify appropriate training opportunities for assigned direct reports and work with Director of Compliance to properly budget for and schedule these opportunities.
Provide training in applicable funding program compliance to community associates and assist with updating training materials.
Engage in required professional education opportunities regarding regulations applicable to the role and ensure that annual training is completed in order to maintain any designations earned.
Technical & General Support
Assist with affordable platform Set Up/Support as well as conversion to replacement platform when identified and appropriate.
New acquisitions/Lease Ups – Work directly with DOC on obtaining all necessary documentation (programs & UA) to complete set up documentation for submission to affordable platform provider.
Follow procedures as described in any applicable reference guides for affordable platform(s).
Review affordable software platform(s) and ensure all information is accurate including: Waitlists (if applicable), and Promissory Notes (if applicable).
Compliance Director Support
Identify and implement ways to improve the Compliance Department’s organization, administration, and processes.
Assist in expanding the Compliance Department’s support capacity for managing additional properties and additional affordable programs.
Manage resources and finances with consideration of the Compliance Department’s annual budget.
