We are currently seeking Experienced Attorneys to join our dynamic firm specializing in workers’ compensation and employment law Défense.
The responsibilities and qualifications for the ideal candidate are outlined as follows:
Key Responsibilities:
• Overseeing a diverse caseload involving workers' compensation cases, spanning from initiation to resolution, including settlement, trial, and/or appeal phases.
• Conducting thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies and provide clients with sound legal counsel.
• Drafting various legal documents such as pleadings, motions, briefs, etc.

• Collaborating effectively with clients, witnesses, and experts to gather evidence and prepare for hearings, trials, or settlement discussions.
• Representation of clients in administrative hearings, mediation sessions, and court proceedings as necessitated.
• Ensuring meticulous maintenance of case records, deadlines, and billing details, adhering to firm protocols and legal standards.
• Continuously staying abreast of pertinent laws, regulations, and precedents related to workers' compensation through ongoing legal education and professional development.
Experience and Requirements:
• A minimum of 5 years' experience in Workers’ Compensation Défense, coupled with active membership in the State Bar Association with a clean standing.
• Demonstrated ability to autonomously manage a significant caseload, handling approximately 60-80 files, or more if preferred.
• Demonstrating a strong interest in directly engaging with clients to nurture personal relationships, with the aim of building and expanding one's own client base.
• Proficiency in both independent and collaborative work, with a dedication to continuous learning and improvement, and a willingness to mentor and receive mentorship for the development of future talent within the organization.
• Preference for familiarity with Entertainment, Sports, Public Entities, Self-Insured Employers, and PEO and General/Special employers, although not obligatory.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $100,000.
