Job Description Our personal injury attorneys have over a decade of experience fighting for the rights of injured victims.
Our law firm only represents people injured in car accidents, dog bites, motorcycle accidents, wrongful death and other similar injuries caused by the negligence of others.
Our personal injury attorneys help injured victims seek compensation for suffering an injury from another person’s negligence.
*Current Opening:* Paralegal position in our Oceanside office.
301 mission Avenue Suite 203 Oceanside, CA 92054 *Duties and Responsibilities: * * Support supervising attorney’s caseload * Review file and discuss with attorney facts to that case prior to preparing complaint * Order all records and bills * Responsible for having a firm knowledge of state and federal court rules, procedures, and deadlines * Effectively manage the attorney’s calendar * Draft basic pleadings, including Judicial Council forms * Draft discovery requests and responses * Demonstrate resourcefulness and effectively work in a team environment with the supervising attorney * Case management to include regular client contact via email and telephone * Provides timely updates to both employers and employees and oversee the document gathering process * Demonstrates excellent verbal communications with clients and supervising attorney * Assist attorney with any needed trial preparations *Qualifications:* This position is full-time.
We are looking for an applicant who is proactive, a fast-learner, and has a great positive attitude.
Ability to work independently is required.
Salary is commensurate upon experience.
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience preferred.
Spanish-speaking skills are preferred, but not necessary.
