Part time (30-35 hours/week) Immigration Legal Administrative Assistant and Social media Coordinator for Southern California Immigration project
We are a nonprofit organization providing legal immigration services to survivors of human and civil rights violations.
Key responsibilities:
-Assist two immigration lawyers in the various secretarial and administrative support including the following:
-Answering phones/receptionist
-Physical and electronic file management and retention
-Calendaring/Schedule management
-Business correspondence management
-Job will evolve to include support of social media platforms
Education and Experiences:
Ideally a paralegal certification or undergrad degree
Previous administrative assistance experience.
Strong MS office capability, ability to work in google docs, network content management
Comfortable working online with various legal systems and databases, experience with eImmigration is desired but not required
Experience in social media
Previous experience in a legal environment
Required Skills:
Excellent communication skills
Planning and organizational skills
Attention to detail/accuracy
Computer savvy (able to quickly grasp new apps, programs, databases)
Able to handle sensitive/confidential information
Able to work independently
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $21.
