I NEED A CAR REAL BAD - $500 (Santee)

I’m looking for a free or practically free used car that runs and is reliable.
Ideally, it should be safe and clean enough to take my daughter to school and pick her up each day.
I used to have a great business but when the war in Ukrain started it cut my price point by 75% overnight.
I poured everything I had into trying to save it.
I didn’t want to have to lay anyone off but we were unable to adapt to the changes in the market and I was forced to close, left with nothing, I got EBT which helps but I haven’t been able to find work especially since I don’t have a car.
Trust me I hate asking for a handout and I’ve always been fortunate to have everything I’ve needed so I would also give back when I could.
I can’t just get a car loan because I’m literally in bankruptcy right now due to all of these losses.
I’m married and have a 12 year old little girl.
My wife can only work so much due to her arthritis and the fact that she drives our daughter to and from Santee to Point Loma on a daily basis.
If you or you know someone that can lend a helping hand I will be forever in your debt.
Looking for any sedan or suv/jeep to get me to and from my daughters school while also being able to make my meetings and apply my efforts in my new business or seeking employment.
I might be able to scrounge up $500 but I’m really counting on one of you to see this post and help me out.
