Heavy Equipment Operator (bobcat, excavator, etc) wanted for miscellaneous subcontract assignments.
Assignments are located in San Diego, Orange, and Riverside Counties.
Qualifications:
3 years minimum experience as an equipment operator
Able to complete a level grade without the aid of GPS
Verifiable work history that shows professional skills and experience
Must have transportation.
Must have skid-steer or be willing to rent equipment as needed per job.
Responsibilities
Reading design plans in order to avoid unnecessary waste of materials
Measuring and marking grades and slopes using transom, water level, tape measure, and marking devices.
Able to professionally complete the finish grade.
Must be willing to travel overnight if needed.
License preferred.
Assignments include trenching, clearing, benching, keyed slopes, and grading for miscellaneous projects for busy contractor.
Projects range from wet/dry utility installation, pool excavations, septic installation, pads and foundations for ADUs, homes, garages, etc.
Gig has the possibility of becoming full-time work with a supervisory role.
