*General Summary:*
The Production Supervisor is responsible for managing basic manufacturing elements; materials utilization, labor, equipment utilization, and other resources needed for production.
Responsible to complete customer orders in a timely manner, ensures compliance with food safety regulations, policies and procedures while keeping employees safe.
Must be able to work 2nd shift and weekends as job requires.

* Maintains staff by training employees on safety, quality, productivity key indicators.
* Encourage personal growth opportunities and develop leads and supervisors.
* Accomplishes results by communicating job expectations, planning, monitoring, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees.
* Enforcing cost control, policies, procedures, and productivity standards.
* Establishes goals by gathering production information trends, (PPLH and yields) identifying and evaluating opportunities for improvement.
* Implement and enforce production schedules, review results with leads and production supervisors
* Enforce quality and customer service standards – make recommendations
* Recommend production lines layouts, identify bottlenecks, and develop plan for improvement
* Plan production activities, and share with support departments to be more effective, (warehouse, maintenance, QA and sanitation)
* Ensure materials on hand for next, day, next week production schedules

*Required Education and Experience*:
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualifications
* 10 years food processing minimum
* Knowledge of Quality Assurance, Safety, Manufacturing, Record keeping, creating procedures, Training,
* Computer literate.
(Excel, Outlook, label printing, manufacturing software)
* HACCP certification or extensive experience
* Evaporation and pasteurization processing experience is a plus
* Production schedule creation
*Physical Requirements:*
* Manual dexterity
* Ability to stand for 8-10 hours
* Ability to lift-up to 60 lbs.
* Ability to work prolonged hours in sub degree climate
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.
