Busy cardiology practice has a need for *Echo Technician ARDMS Certification (RDCS) required.
*The ideal candidate will independently perform complete echocardiogram and stress echocardiogram according to iCal standards.
*Responsibilities:*
* Perform echocardiograms and other cardiac diagnostic tests using sonography equipment.
* Operate and maintain equipment in accordance with established protocols and safety guidelines.
* Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring aseptic technique is followed.
* Obtain and document patient medical history, including vital signs and relevant symptoms.
Analyze and interpret test results, providing accurate and timely diagnostic evaluations.
* Collaborate with physicians to develop treatment plans based on test findings.
* Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
*Experience:*
* Proficiency in medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and cardiac catheterization procedures.
* Strong knowledge of echocardiography techniques and equipment operation.
* Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
*Requirements:*
* Certification as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS)
