POSITION DESCRIPTION: The recruiter is responsible for maintaining an ongoing recruiting effort to ensure that there are adequate numbers of caregivers for continued growth within the agency.
This includes placing ads, networking with organizations within the community that are in contact with individuals that would be good candidates and creating/maintaining relationships with certified nursing assistant (CNA) schools or other schools in order to find the best candidates for the agency.
This person will also conduct weekly orientations and maintain all caregiver records.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and interact with clients, co-workers and all supervisors
* Associate or Bachelor's degree strongly recommended
* At least three years’ experience in Human Resources, preferably in a recruitment/administrative capacity.
Extensive experience in the home care field considered in lieu of other experience.
* Strong technology skills
* Ability to perform multiple tasks under strict deadlines.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Caregiver Recruitment – following the COMPANY’s hiring process
* Run ads as needed; find new media sources to run ads
* Mine recruitment databases weekly for new caregiver applicants
* Track responses to all ads and other recruitment sources
* Routinely identify new avenues to recruit caregivers
* Create/maintain relationships with CNA schools, nursing schools, community colleges, churches and other appropriate organizations which can be utilized for recruitment
* Perform interviews both on the phone/Zoom and in person
* Check references on all applicants
* Schedule orientations and invite appropriate applicants
Administrate orientations
* Ensure at least three new applicants attend orientation when scheduled
* Conduct Orientation
* Maintain caregiver files through the hiring process
* Create, maintain and update caregiver files and information in software
* Run Management Reports as necessary
* Assist in caregiver ongoing training
* Assist in caregiver yearly evaluations and caregiver discipline as needed
* Create and distribute monthly caregiver newsletter
* Attend weekly team meetings and report on recruitment activities
* Other duties as assigned
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $23.
00 - $25.
00 per hour
