Who are we looking for? The NOC Technician will be responsible for the proactive monitoring and support of XiFin’s revenue generating applications, and assets from XiFin’s Network Operations Center.
As a Tier 1 Support, you will help to maintain XiFin’s customer facing systems and ensure tickets are routed and/or escalated to the proper teams or resolved by you, as appropriate.
The NOC Technician will be the communication bridge between technical staff and business users when dealing with service impacting events and system outages.
What does the position pay: Compensation is determined by several factors which may include skillset, experience level, and geographic location.
The expected range for this role is $25.
00 - $28.
50 hourly compensation.
Please note this range is an estimate and actual may vary based on qualifications and experience.
What will you do? Monitor automated alerts, end user incidents, outage reporting, troubleshoot, and resolve problems.
Respond to tickets in Jira and Salesforce pertaining to: Account setup and maintenance Configuration changes Application deployments Perform preventative maintenance using pre-established best practice checklists.
Document processes and non-standard requirements.
Provisioning and removal of all user access accounts following’s XiFin’ SOP’s and Security practices.
What education and experience do you need? A combination of the following education and experience will be considered: High School Diploma or GED 1 year of experience in a NOC or IT Technician role.
Experience receiving and resolving incoming tickets.
Working knowledge of computer software and hardware.
Ability to understand urgency & make technical decision accordingly.
High level of attention to detail.
Professional attitude and appearance.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
