Your combination of people skills and system administrator expertise makes you the team hero, solving one problem after another.

We’re looking for a system administrator who is fluent in Windows Server Administration, basic networking knowledge, and exhibits strong communication skills to help us further enhance our CANES remote development lab capabilities.
As a system administrator on our team, you’ll facilitate account setup and management, system configuration management, and security best-practice implementation.
You’ll learn how to help clients overcome challenges through monitoring and performance management.
You’ll analyze problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission-critical network.
You’ll combine your technical knowledge and communication skills to turn metrics into information and articulate their meaning.
This is an opportunity to gain experience with VMWare Horizon and enhance Scripting and Automation to foster the automation of routine tasks and to help streamline processes.
We focus on growing as a team, so we’ll techniques, work through challenges, and develop new methodologies together.
Work with us and resolve daily challenges as we improve the remote lab capabilities.

You Have: Experience in Windows Server Administration, configuring and managing Windows Server operating systems Experience with Active Directory, including setting up and managing domain controllers Experience with security concepts and best practices, including user permissions, access controls, and encryption Knowledge of setting up and managing file s on Windows servers Knowledge of Group Policy management for configuring and controlling user and computer settings Knowledge of basic networking skills, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and subnetting Knowledge of backup strategies and recovery procedures for both Windows servers and virtual machines Knowledge of tools and techniques for monitoring system performance and making necessary optimizations Ability to deploy, configure, and manage virtual machines using VMware vSphere HS diploma or GED Nice If You Have: Experience with VMware Horizon for virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) setup and management Experience with Scripting and Automation tools, including PowerShell, to automate routine tasks and streamline processes Ability to diagnose and resolve issues related to Windows servers and VMware infrastructure Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills for collaborating with team members, documenting processes, and providing support Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physical Science Create Your Career: Grow With Us Your growth matters to us—that’s why we offer a variety of ways for you to develop your career.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.
The projected compensation range for this position is $49,900.
00 to $102,000.
