Dual reporting to the Senior Director of Human Resources and the Supervisor of HR Operations, the Human Resources & Talent Acquisition Associate is a part-time employee with a Generalist’s expertise and recruitment experience.
This individual is accountable for providing HR services to our nonprofit and social enterprise clients in the areas of data and records management, recruitment support, new hire/ employee/ termination documentation production, on-boarding, compliance, and other high-touch human resource service areas and projects.
This role will be hybrid remote and in-person, with some work completed onsite at our clients’ office, some at our office and remote.

What You’ll Do Mission Edge has been in business for over ten years and is growing fast! As such, we are seeking a new part-time Human Resources & Talent Acquisition Associate to join the HR team in order to provide amazing service to the core Mission Edge’s employees as well as the employees of our Managed Services and Fiscal Sponsored clients.
This is a part-time role working 25 hours per week.
The Human Resources & Talent Acquisition Associate handles day-to-day human resources, data and records management, administrative, operational and recruitment tasks relating to recruitment, onboarding, interviewing and coordination, candidate selection, resume screening, and other HR-related projects.
Supervised by the HR Operations Supervisor and Senior Director of HR, you will work as a team to ensure company policies and best practices meet the legal requirements.
Embracing Mission Edge’s “Never Settling” mindset, you collaborate with the HR Operations Supervisor to constantly add value to our employees, find new cost-effective ways to increase HR efficiency, leverage technology and support the growth of the organization.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES Ensure the maintenance of the employee files and the payroll data.
Assist the HR Operations Supervisor and Senior Director of HR and the managers with hiring.
Partner with the Human Resources Business Partners to assist in client recruitment efforts and support ranging from resume screening, candidate selection, virtual or phone screening, interview participation, interview coordination with various stakeholders, Offer Letter preparation, pre-employment screening coordination, Manage physical and virtual personnel files, data and HR related records in accordance with standardized process, policy and retention requirements.
Assist clients in managing physical and virtual personnel files, data and HR related records in accordance with standardized process, policy and retention requirements as assigned.
Physical file/document scanning and record filing onsite at client locations may be required.
Develop partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
Assist the HR Operations Supervisor with benefits administration.
Keep up to date with legislative changes.
Coordinate training and employee events (lunch, special events, etc.
).
Other duties as requested by management.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities You’ll Have A professional with 2+ years’ experience in the Human Resources field with hands-on experience with recruitment, payroll, and benefits.
A client and solution-oriented enthusiast, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
A team player who enjoys collaboration and perceives their role as central to broadcasting the company’s values.
An organized multi-tasker with great attention to detail.
An alert and curious mind, always looking for ways to improve the existing.
What You’ll Get Competitive Compensation – The hourly range for this role is $17-$20 DOE.
Candidates are encouraged to have other means to supplement their income since this is a part-time role.
