The Warehouse Specialist will provide shipping, receiving, delivery, and warehouse facilities support.
Verify incoming shipments against receiving documents.
Deliver materials to designated locations; storing, stacking, or palletizing materials in accordance with prescribed storage and warehouse processes.
Perform warehousing duties utilizing pallet jacks and forklifts.
Maintain shipping, receiving and driver log according to Alutiiq Policy.
Maintain a safe and orderly work environment.
Prepare and arrange materials and products for distribution or storage; moving and loading or unloading equipment, materials, and products; operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and related material-handling machinery and material handling equipment; to load and move materials.
Accept delivery of inventory from FedEx, USPS, UPS and other logistics/delivery companies.
Counting, confirming, and documenting inventory.
Load and shrink wrapping stock on pallets.
Vehicle loading, unloading, driving and making deliveries in company delivery vehicle.
Assist with building and facilities maintenance activities.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Pursuant to the Government Contract, you must be a U.
S.
Citizen, with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret DoD Clearance after hire.
Two (2) years of warehouse experience to include: performing inventory, staging, stocking, delivering, packing, storage and shipping of equipment.
Must have a valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
Ability to lift 40+ pounds.
Working knowledge of common hand tools and power tools.
Must have good communication and organization skills.
Must be able to work in a team and as an individual with minimal direction.
Previous forklift experience is a plus
An Active Secret Clearance is a plus
