About the Job:
We are seeking Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our SHIFT CARE TEAM! We need nurses with a higher level of expertise to manage clients' ongoing complex medical conditions.
We do 1:1 patient care.
3-shifts rotation per day (8-hours).
Also accepts a 4-hour shift, part-time.
Responsibilities:
Care for ill, injured, or convalescing clients.
Provide basic/complex care and treatment of clients with a tracheostomy, ventilator, feeding tubes, catheters, ostomies, and other client's advanced clinical care needs.
Demonstrate effective nursing judgment and a thorough knowledge of nursing procedures and practices.
With physician collaboration, develop individualized care plans for clients.
Medication administration, treatments, and therapies.
Provide health care education and instructions to clients and families.
Complete thorough documentation, including treatment and interventions.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse.
One (1) year of experience in a specialty care setting, ICU experience a plus.
Ability to foster a supportive and compassionate environment to care for patients and their families.
Strongly independent to work with patients at their place of residence
A team player with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and staff.
Requirements:
Licensed Registered Nurse in good standing with state affiliated Board of Nursing.
Current ACLS/BLS (required).
Physical exam.
TB test results.
Immunizations records.
Current Shot Records.
