Looking for LVN with experience in Pysch/ Mental Health setting
JOB SUMMARY:
Under the supervision of the RN/Licensed Care Provider, responsible for applying the nursing process through the assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and documentation of patient care.
Provides a caring relationship that facilitates health and healing.
Demonstrates clinical competence in performing, assisting and/or documenting tasks and procedures with excellence and quality, per department standards, regulatory guidelines and within scope of practice using age/developmental appropriate approach.
Implements plan of care, provides patient and family teaching, follow-up, and discharge (after visit summaries) instructions with excellence and quality, per departmental standards and within scope of practice.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Associate's Degree or nursing diploma from an accredited LVN program
Current California Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)
Current BLS for Healthcare Providers, issued by AHA
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
One year of experience
At least one year of pediatric experience
Bilingual Spanish
The expected hiring range for this position is $27.
