The County of San Diego has an exciting opportunity for PHARMACY FELLOW (Two-Year Fellowship) Salary: $81,120.
00 annually ($39.
00 hourly) Interviews will take place in January - February 2024.
Job offer will take place in March 2024.
The Pharmacy Fellow will have an opportunity to learn pharmacy operations in various healthcare settings, support projects to improve pharmacy services, formulate policy, learn to perform management-level duties, and contribute to the implementation and management of pharmacy services.
At the time of appointment, the Pharmacy Fellow will possess a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from a school of pharmacy accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and will be a pharmacist licensed to practice in California.
Please note this is a two-year Pharmacy Fellowship program.
Anticipated start date is September 2024 (post-graduation and licensure).
The Pharmacy Fellow may have an opportunity to: Become an Affiliate Faculty with University of California, San Diego (UCSD) – Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, eligibility determined by UCSD Pursue the Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at University of California, San Diego (UCSD) – Rady School of Management at a discount, eligibility and discount determined by UCSD HIRING TIMELINE AND DATES The timeline for this recruitment is outlined below.
Interviews will take place in January - February 2024.
Job Offer and Background Process will take place in March 2024.
Note: Current County employees may be excluded from additional background screening.
Pre-employment Medical Screening: Approximately 3 days following successful background investigation results.
Anticipated Start Date: September 2024, and will be based upon successful completion of medical screening or other mutually agreed upon date.
