Hours: This is a salaried, exempt position.
Work schedule is Monday - Thursday, 8:00 am to 6:00 pm and must be available for on call consultation when needed.
Salary:$109,180.

As a Nurse Coordinator, you will:
Coordinate and supervise the behavioral health nursing care of the program, including supervision of all nursing staff and management of infection control activities.
Assist multidisciplinary team with nursing assessment for incoming clients.
Ensure that clients and family members are educated and informed about their medications and illness management.
Oversee health care needs of the clients and acts as a liaison between clients and doctors.
Ensure all medications are managed and stored appropriately as defined by local and state regulations.
Additional Qualifications and Skills
BLS certification or CPR/First Aid certification required and must be maintained throughout employment
Minimum of one year of experience working with a mental health population, especially with individuals with severe and persistent mental illness and co-occurring disorders is strongly preferred
Ability to physically and mentally able to assist in emergency situations is required
Demonstrated knowledge of County Health and Human Services requirements including documentation is preferred
A valid California drivers license in good standing and eligibility to be an approved CRF driver is required to fulfill the essential functions of this position.
In addition, proof of insurance is required prior to driving personal vehicles on company business.
Ability to pass criminal/background clearance

Turning Point Crisis Center is a Short Term Acute Residential Treatment (START) program that provides intensive, community-based crisis residential services for adults throughout North Coastal San Diego County.
