We are looking for an exceptional operations leader to join our thriving, family-oriented dental practices in University Center / La Jolla, CA.
The ideal candidate has extensive treatment planning experience, a continuous "keep the schedule full" mentality, strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities, and an affinity for holding fellow team members accountable.

*ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:*

* Train and coach team members to ensure they can perform to the best of their abilities.
* Manage patient flow to maximize the experience for patients as well as creating efficient, effective days for both the clinicians and the front office staff.
* Perform duties in accordance with California’s allowable functions.
* Develop team members through support of learning plans and expansion of individual knowledge with regards to clinical technology and skill sets.
* Integrate specialty dental assistants into the team effectively.
* Ensure the team is aware of the practice schedule, including patients’ arrival and departure times.
* Assist the clinical team and ensure their ability to manage infection control, sterilization and disinfection processes for all products, equipment, and patient rooms in accordance with the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) guidelines.
* Maintain a clean and sterile workplace and create an atmosphere where patients feel comfortable.
* Lead mornings huddles when necessary and participate in meetings as required.
* Maintain adequate clinical supplies in the dental practice, while simultaneously remaining fiscally responsible by adhering to established budgets.
* Educate team on basic maintenance requirements, as appropriate, and ensure maintenance procedures are performed in a timely manner.
* Other duties as assigned by Management.
*RESPONSIBILITIES:*
* Achieve financial performance and revenue growth goals while supporting our culture and mission.
* Act as an expert in the local market, employing best practices for patient acquisition and retention.
* Provide direct individual and team leadership to achieve success in an entrepreneurial environment.
*PREFERRED BACKGROUND:*
* 5 years of relevant work experience (or equivalent coursework or on-the-job training in the fields of dentistry, business or training).
* Strong management and leadership skills.
* Experience leading teams, mentoring and coaching subordinates.
