We provide paid training including $1250 paid to employees for completing Direct Support Professional training.
The Nursing Support Staff (NSS) position is ideal for individuals who have been previously licensed or are currently licensed as CNAs or have completed Medical Assistant training.
As an Nursing Support Staff at Mountain Shadows, you will perform caregiver job duties as well as provide support to our nursing team of RNs and LVNs.
Some of the duties of the Nursing Support Staff include:
Providing assistance with personal hygiene such as showering, toileting, grooming, dental care, etc.
Providing skill training to residents in areas such as self help and independent living.
Providing recreation and leisure opportunities and encouraging socialization.
Housekeeping duties such as cooking, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, laundry and other cleaning.
Administering medications.
Administering G-Tube feedings, breathing treatments and other medical procedures.
Assisting the nursing team with administrative tasks when necessary.
Mentoring new Direct Care Staff.
We currently have the following shifts available: 3:30p-8:30p; 2:30p-10:30p; 10:30p-6:30a (Overnight)
