Client Payment Processor

As we continue to expand and diversify our service offerings, we are seeking a Client Payment Processor to manually and electronically process and post client credit card transactions.
Reporting to the Vice President of Revenue Cycle Management, the Client Payment Processor is responsible for ensuring accurate client payments.
This important role will require strong communication skills and paying close attention to details.
The Client Payment Processor will navigate between our NextGen EHR, InstaMed payment portal, and other Microsoft Office products.
This will be a part-time position that will require less than 30 hours a week during the hours of 8am-5pm PST.

As we learn and grow, we can help more people, and that’s what it’s all about *Roles and Responsibilities* * Initial point of contact for new clients * Establish relationship with new clients and facilitate the introduction of Headlight outpatient mental healthcare services * Evaluate the mental healthcare needs of clients and determine eligibility for services * Connect clients with appropriate Headlight clinicians based on specific needs and preferences * Generate new client intakes and ensure clients complete their initial intake appointment with a clinician * Oversee the intake process including scheduling, and coordinating paperwork, insurance, and required payment information * Ensure new clients are comfortable and informed throughout the intake process and address any concerns or questions they have * Accurately input client information into our EHR * Works closely with other departments to streamline the intake process and improve our client experience * Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures, ensuring a high standard of care and legal compliance * Perform other duties as assigned *Qualifications* * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills * Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail * Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality * Work in Medical or Mental Health Field preferred *Benefits* * Competitive hourly rate * Opportunity to work in a cutting-edge healthcare technology environment * Professional development opportunities and training * Collaborative and supportive work culture * Impactful role contributing to the enhancement of patient care and healthcare processes This part-time position will be paid hourly and will qualify for our PTO and sick leave accruals.
