This position is responsible for….
The Senior Product Brand Manager is a strategic position responsible for managing products and brand lifecycle to ensure profitability and increase brand presence and awareness.
Implements standard operating procedures to guide forecasting of demand and drive branding and marketing strategies.
S/he will be expected to develop a comprehensive understanding of customers, marketplace clinical and economic dynamics and Breg’s portfolio.
S/he will also need to deeply understand and effectively promote the customer centric Breg’s value proposition.
Your day will be very busy… you will: Demonstrates expertise over products, services and software and conveys credibility on category and Breg’s business overall.
Drives brand consistency across products and company brand strategies and evaluates training programs to ensure content meets staff needs.
Collaborates with marketing, marketing communications, product development, and value engineering to ensure business and customer needs are met.
Reviews marketing metrics to understand market trends and customer behavior and drive decision-making.
Seeks to understand and listen with humility and curiosity.
Acquires multiple perspectives from customers, internal stakeholders, and key opinion leaders.
May manage Product Managers, Associate Product Managers, Technical Specialists, or other supporting roles.
Effectively leverages market, financial and customer insight data to guide recommendations.
Understands Breg’s overall value proposition and how assigned category fits and supports growth.
Seeks and evaluates opportunities and conducts field trials for product, service, technology, software design effectiveness and customer experience innovation.
Translates feedback and complexity into strategic recommendations to drive growth.
Guides portfolio strategies, product development opportunities and life cycle plans.
Develops specifications and requirements for new and sustaining product development projects.
Leads targeting, positioning, and pricing for products in assigned categories.
Develops channel level strategies to drive product sales through Breg services and solutions.
Drives revenue and profitability results through cross-functional team collaboration and leadership.
Identifies, gains internal support for, and leads execution of retention and growth-focused initiatives.
Brings innovation to market that solves customer pain points by partnering with the innovation team.
Provides technical and market expertise to field, co-travels and supports tradeshows and events.
Helps determine product level forecasts for supply chain planning and category optimization.
Works with Regulatory, Compliance, and Legal to develop and support labels and claims.
Partners with Marketing Communications to define positioning, messaging, and communications plan.
What your background will be: Bachelor’s degree required.
A degree in marketing or a related field is preferred but not required.
Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
7+ years of product marketing experience within the medical device or orthopedic industries or equivalent knowledge and experience is required.
7+ years of experience with brand management, campaign management, competitive intelligence, competitor analysis, demand forecasting, marketing analytics and marketing planning is required.
7+ years of experience with new product development, new product introduction, product demonstration, product launch and product management profitability is required.
7+ years’ experience with profitability analysis, research documentation, sales forecasting, trend analysis and workflow optimization is required.
Computer proficient to include web browser/internet search, MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point capabilities.
Technical competence includes the ability to learn new software and systems.
Sales experience or prior orthopedic industry experience is preferred.
Athletic trainer certificate, Certified Orthotic Fitter, or other related industry certification or experience is preferred.
