Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA)

We have an immediate need for a Certified Home Health Aide in Carlsbad, CA.
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Shower Aide to provide assistance with personal hygiene and showering.
The position involves visiting each patient's house three times a week.
Responsibilities: * Conducting personal hygiene and showering sessions for patients in their homes.
* Ensuring patient comfort and safety during showering activities.
* Assisting patients with mobility and transfers to and from the shower area.
* Following established hygiene and safety protocols.
* Communicating effectively with patients and their families to understand specific needs and preferences.
* Documenting and maintaining records of each visit, including any observed changes in the patient's condition.
* Collaborating with healthcare professionals as needed to provide comprehensive care.
Requirements: * Previous experience as a shower aide or similar role preferred.
* Knowledge of proper hygiene practices and safety measures.
* Ability to provide empathetic and patient-centered care.
* Strong communication skills.
* Reliable transportation to travel between patients' homes.
* Respect for patient confidentiality and privacy Compensation: $35 per visit (three visits per week for each patient).
You must have an active Home Health Aide Certification, be able to provide references, and complete a background screening prior to start of work.
Job Type: Contract Pay: $30.
00 - $35.
