Marine Corps Cyber Network Defense Assessor
The Opportunity:
Cyber threats are everywhere, and the constantly evolving nature of these threats can make understanding them seem overwhelming to military organizations.
In all of this “cyber noise,” how can these organizations understand their risks and how to mitigate them? The answer is you—an information security risk specialist who will break down complex threats into manageable plans of action.
As an information security risk specialist on our team, you’ll use your experience to work with Headquarters Marine Corps to discover their cyber risks, understand applicable policies, and develop a mitigation plan.
You’ll review technical, environmental, and personnel details from onsite risk managers, systems engineers, and analysts to assess the entire threat landscape.
Then, you’ll guide your client through a plan of action with presentations, white papers, and milestones.
You’ll work with your client to translate security concepts, so they can make the best decisions to secure their network and mission critical systems.

You Have: 3+ years of experience conducting DoD network assessments 3+ years of experience in security evaluation 1+ years of experience with Marine Corps network management or Federal Government network management fundamentals Ability to conduct cyber assessment to analyze network cybersecurity controls and document recommendations to remediate vulnerabilities Ability to conduct vulnerability assessments in accordance with DoD Cyber Readiness Inspections standards, and the Marine Corps Cybersecurity Vulnerability Assessment and Analysis Strategy (MCVAAS) or service equivalent Ability to meet and continually maintain Marine Corps Privilege User access requirements of Enterprise Cyber Security Manual 007 Secret clearance HS diploma or GED IAT Level II or IAT Level III Certification, such as Security+ CE or CASP Nice If You Have: 5+ years of experience conducting code reviews 2+ years of experience in Penetration Testing Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.
The projected compensation range for this position is $73,100.
00 to $166,000.
