Summary
The purpose of the Senior Analyst, Dedicated Truck Operations position is to coordinate with dedicated truck carriers & cargo shippers to ensure timely shipments movement for inbound and outbound operations while maximizing dedicated truck capacity while aligning with Glovis standards and Hyundai Translead's expectations.
Responsibilities
Follow SOP/KPI guideline to ensure timely allocation of dedicated carrier capacity for both Inbound & Outbound operation
Conduct & Follow through all aspects of dispatching process, including communicating internally & externally for coordination
Support manager to trouble shoot any issues related to Dedicated Truck carrier / Dispatch operations
Daily communication with carriers & cargo shippers/vendors
Produce periodic carrier KPI reports & monitor performance
Responding to customer complaints & be solution provider for MQ operations
Plan pre-determined routes & maximize carrier capacity
Monitor communication with all related parties to ensure timely transportation movements
Coordinate daily/weekly/monthly workload to each responsible carrier
Maintain proper records to track & trace movement data (document productivity)
Manage carriers to minimize in-transit damages and reduce usage of more expensive carriers
Analyze and identify opportunities to save freight costs in the supply chain process
Support with all data reconciliation with proprietary systems such as TMS
Support MQ's 3PL / REPO coordination with carrier assigned
Shipment data entry & report generation
Perform internal functions to assist other departments in order to review and resolve discrepancies and fulfill customer needs including POD auditing, profit & loss reporting, and perform root cause analysis and establish corrective actions to avoid repetitive occurrences
Recommend and implement strategies to continually improve department performance
Compensation Range
$55,000 - $65,000 per year

Education & Experience
Associates Degree Required
3-5 Years of Experience in Logistics and Supply Chain Required
