The Role
Artemis is looking for a Pharmacy Technician for the San Diego office.
Under the supervision of the Site Director, the Pharmacy Technician will be responsible for supporting various activities associated with the day-to-day operations of the research department in the conduct of clinical trials.
Position Type: Full Time
Pay Range: $22-$26/hr
Location: San Diego- no remote work
Travel: 0%
Work Schedule: Monday & Thursday - 8:30am-5pm / Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday 7:00am-3:30 pm
Responsibilities:
Management of all pharmacy-related tasks to include IP management (inventory, ordering, purging, etc) pharmacy organization, and temperature recording
The primary unblinded staff member on all studies which require an unblinded role
Dispensation of IP via IWRS, including completion of IP related forms and ensuring quality check(s) are performed as specified in the Artemis manual
Management and inventory of rescue/prescription medications
Management of pharmacy-related third party vendor contracts
Perform inventory audits and purchase supplies as needed
Management of IP return and destruction per study-specific guidance
Qualifications:
Minimum of high school diploma required; associate's degree preferred
Customer service experience and ability to calmly and professionally resolve customer issues with diplomacy and tact
Follows established systems to optimize efficiency and quality
A high degree of organization and planning: Plan, organizes, schedules in an efficient, productive manner, focusing on key priorities
High level of communication: Speaks and writes clearly and articulately without being verbose
Sets high standards: Expects personal performance and team performance to be nothing short of the best
A strong work ethic: Willing to step in to assist the team when needed
A team player who can receive and provide constructive feedback
Act as a back-up in the laboratory, ensuring out of office coverage (including but not limited to blood draws, specimen processing, and kit ordering)
Support EDC entry as needed
Assist operations team with administrative duties as needed
