The *LVN Nurse* at ActivCare will provide direct nursing care to the residents with Alzheimer’s and related dementias as needed.

*Licensed Vocational Nurse* Responsibilities:
* As our health care team leader, the *LVN Nurse* will oversee the care of our residents and the caregiving team.
* Strong critical thinking skills as it relates to symptoms, diagnosis, and problem solving.
* Interface with doctors, pharmacists, and medical personnel as an advocate for the community’s residents.
* The *LVN Nurse* documents notes of daily resident care and oversees medication management.
* Be mindful of resident safety, your safety, and the safety of your teammates.

Requirements of the *Licensed Vocational Nurse*:
* Must be currently licensed as an *LVN* or *LPN *in the state of California.
* First Aid training is required.
* Pass a background check, drug screen, and English proficiency test.
* Successful candidates will be a minimum of 18 years old and be authorized to work in the United States
* Experience providing residential care to the elderly preferred.
