*Job Description:*
As a transmission technician, you will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing transmissions and transaxles on motor vehicles.
You will utilize your mechanical knowledge, power tools, and hand tools to diagnose issues, troubleshoot problems, and conduct routine inspections.
Your attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently or as part of a team will contribute to the success of our organization.
*Duties:*
* Perform maintenance and repairs on motor vehicle transmissions
* Diagnose mechanical issues and troubleshoot problems
* Conduct routine inspections to ensure equipment is functioning properly
* Follow safety protocols and guidelines when working with power tools and machinery
* Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed
*Skills:*
* Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
* Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools
* Experience with vehicle maintenance is a plus
* Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams
* Excellent problem-solving and time management skills
* Attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
*Requirements:*
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Previous experience in a similar role preferred
* Valid driver's license
* Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods of time
