*POSITION SUMMARY* The Treatment Coordinator at A+ Family Dentistry is a key member of the team, working closely with our patients to ensure a positive and memorable dental experience.
This person is also responsible for managing the daily, weekly, and monthly schedule to meet the practice's production and collection goals.
This role takes pride in scheduling by supporting the delivery of remarkable dental care through clear, concise and simple communication over the phone and in-person.
This role requires a strong sense of patient education and financial literacy through calculations, the ideal candidate is comfortable with discussing finances and collecting money to close treatments.
This Coordinator is the first impression of our practice and is the patient’s advocate throughout their dental experience, providing meaningful patient feedback with compassion.
We are looking for an upbeat individual who is skilled in scheduling, experienced in dentistry, and interested in advancing their Treatment Coordinator career.

If you desire an opportunity to make a difference, advance your career, and serve as a positive influence in a growing company, we look forward to receiving your application! *PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES* * Create a positive, non-judgmental, and memorable experience for each patient * Create & Maintain a productive schedule where patients receive dental care in the most efficient manner * New, Prospective, and Existing patients have high affinity for the practice, and are scheduled correctly and show up for their appointments * Changes in the schedule are managed swiftly so they don’t negatively affect production and profit * Manage various communication lines of the practice so information Is properly routed in a timely manner * Continue building our patient base by establishing and nurturing patient relationships * Effectively and Efficiently gather relevant information from patients, labs or referring offices and pass on to the correct team member to enhance patients’ care * Accurately and efficiently calculate the patients’ copay for their treatment plans according to the office’s financial policy and their dental benefits * Closes or assists in the closing of the patients on their treatment plans and gets them started on regimen * Follow up frequently with patients with outstanding treatment plans and get them closed or back on the schedule to see the Doctors or Hygienists * Accurately record follow up notes in our CRM so relationships can be nurtured * Inspire patients to follow through with their recommended treatment and commit to continuing care * Accurately and efficiently record the administrative tasks of the Treatment Coordinator so the patients’ finance record can be easily seen * All other related administrative tasks as assigned * Promote the company’s Mission, Vision, and Core Values to patients and potential team members *KEY COMPETENCIES* The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required to be successful in this role, but are not necessarily all-inclusive * Ability to thrive in an environment of change and growth * Experience successfully maintaining a positive attitude while working in a team environment with competing priorities * Ability to engage with patients, providers, and team members building professional relationships * Ability to listen, empathize and problem solve * Excellent communication skills and phone etiquette * Outstanding organization and administrative skills * Ability to think individually as well as collaboratively when approaching job responsibilities * Ability to demonstrate initiative, dependability, and promptness * Ability to exercise confidentiality with patients and patient care *EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE* * High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED), (Required) * Ability to pass a criminal background check, (Required) * Minimum 2yrs of General Dentistry experience, (Preferred but not required) *BENEFITS* * Employer-Sponsored: Health Insurance * Company dental discounts for employees and immediate family * PTO, Paid Holidays, and Excused Vacation Time * Opportunity for bonuses if office goal is met * 401(k) Options * Professional Training & Development Opportunities * Employer-Sponsored Quarterly Team Events *PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS* * Resides within or close to 15-20 miles of office location for reasonable commute.
