Our San Diego, CA office is hiring for a Senior Trust Administrator.
The Senior Trust Administrator will responsible for proactively engaging in firm wide initiatives developing and enhancing our corporate trustee services.
This position involves client facing activities providing comprehensive services to existing clients, identifying business opportunities with the advisor group, and assisting our advisors wealth management services team with strategic planning.
Salary Range: $120,000 - $150,000 plus annual bonus
Position Responsibilities:
Facilitate the corporate trustee service offering with oversight from the Director of Estate Services
Act as firm liaison with National Advisor Trust Company and be responsible for fostering and developing relationships between the trust officers, advisors, and clients
Responsible for the administration, risk management and servicing of assigned fiduciary and investment management accounts
Minimize account risk by analyzing trust documents and performing annual account reviews for compliance with trust provisions, state and federal regulations, and trust policy and procedure adherence
Provide advisory services to clients on estate tax planning, wealth and business succession planning, charitable planning, trust tax planning
Participate in internal strategy discussions for clients, collaborate with advisor teams and planning departments to address service objectives
Collaborate with advisor teams to insure clients goals/objectives are being meet as pertains to the estate planning or charitable needs, provide advice and assistance with all aspects of trust administration
Publicly represent the corporate trustee solution through participation in firm marketing initiatives, including client and prospective client seminars, writing articles and blogs, and other activities
Perform additional functions, duties and specific tasks of a similar nature as necessary in order to achieve the firm’s business development and client retention objectives
Adhere to all company policies and procedures and perform business functions with focus on consistency, quality, and compliance
Minimum five years of relationship management experience counseling high net worth clients on estate planning and trust administration
Advanced degree required
Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRM software
Efficient and effective written and oral communication skills
Experience and willingness to participate in public speaking events, prospect meetings
Extremely detail oriented, exceptional follow through, reliable
Ability to maintain positive attitude, self-motivated, ethically sound judgement
Excellent client relations skills with ability to apply problem solving skills, and communicate solutions to clients
Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work well with all levels of the firm and within a collaborative environment
Ability to work independently and exercise discretion without direct and immediate supervision
