Summary: The Quality Engineering Specialist will support the Quality function of the organization by providing analysis to address current issues or future potential issues.
Essential Responsibilities: Creation and editing of work instructions, procedures, and other quality related documents as assigned.
Participates in and performs Layered Process Audits (LPA) per plan Ensures quality standards are maintained throughout the facility Root cause analysis using 5-why, 8D, Cause Tree/ Fishbone, etc.
Maintains corrective action log, tracks due dates and work with other departments to close internal corrective actions as well as maintain documentation on customer NCR/ CAR Internal Audits (NADCAP/ AS9100/ Customer) Creation of training material Participation in continuous improvement projects Preparing data and maintaining charts for metric reporting Assist Quality Manager with other tasks as needed Position Requirements: Minimum Educational Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent required Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Quality, Engineering or related field preferred Minimum Previous Experience: 1-3 Years experience in a Quality related role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
ASQ Certification a plus Other Skills: Ability to solve complex problem and exercise judgement based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Ability to support and/or lead root causes analysis, disciplined problem-solving and decision-making processes.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Excellent written and verbal communication skills Safety is a core value at ITT.

Equal Pay Act Range: Annual Salary Range is $45,300 to $67,700 plus benefits and incentive plans.
