*We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician/Handyman to maintain and repair our office building!*
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting tasks.
As a Maintenance Technician/Handyman, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety, comfort, and overall functionality of our office building.
This is a hands-on position that requires a proactive approach, attention to detail, and excellent problem-solving skills.
*Responsibilities:*
* Perform routine maintenance tasks, including but not limited to _*plumbing repairs, electrical repairs, and painting.
(HVAC would be a plus)*_
* Inspect common areas regularly to identify maintenance and repair needs.
* Respond promptly and efficiently to maintenance requests and work orders from property management.
* Diagnose and troubleshoot maintenance issues, determine the best course of action, and complete repairs in a timely manner.
* Install and repair fixtures, appliances, equipment, and systems within the office building.
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment at all times.
* Coordinate and communicate with property management and other team members to prioritize tasks and ensure efficient operations.
*Qualifications:*
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general maintenance principles.
(HVAC a plus)
* Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot maintenance issues effectively.
* Basic understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and procedures.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong communication, reading and written skills.
* Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and perform manual labor.
* Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
*Work schedule:*
* 9:00am - 5:00pm
