We are currently hiring an Administrative Assistant I to join our team.
You will be the initial welcome at our Day Program Center for all clients, staff and visitors.
As the administrative support for the center you will work closely with the leadership to ensure effective entry and review of data in different systems.
Who you are: Task-oriented individual comfortable working on your own Capable of asking for direction rather than taking the lead A typical day will include: Receptionist duties, including promptly and professionally answering multiline telephones and interacting with clients, employees and visitors Sorting documents alphabetically and according to content, dates, significance, confidentiality Managing the petty cash fund; cashier for on-site cafe Data entry of client hours in multiple forms; reconciles for payroll and monthly billing Monitors employee training progress (Relias) Audits client electronic case files for quality assurance (Therap) What you’ll need to be successful: A keen eye for detail Experience handling administrative duties for an office environment Are comfortable in multiple software systems AND in manual processes Positive customer service while maintaining an advocacy focus for our clients HS Diploma or GED Positive, welcoming demeanor Cash handling skills Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) Valid CA Driver’s License with clean driving record Immediate access to vehicle with working seatbelts to transport participants We’d love it if you: Have experience with individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities Have experience with an electronic case management system (Therap) Are knowledgeable of San Diego Regional Center (SDRC) referral and funding procedures Are multi-lingual (English, Spanish, Tagalog) The Arc of San Diego is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
