Located near the Genesee Avenue exit off I-5, Scripps Clinic Urgent Care Torrey Pines offers immediate medical care for conditions that are not life-threatening.
This urgent care is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week with 170+ visits a day, this is a fast-paced Urgent Care.
RNs in Urgent Care will get hands-on experience with a wide variety of emergency patients.
RNs have an array of education opportunities and are actively involved in process improvements.
Join our patient-focused team and perform patient assessments and care tasks, including emergency procedures and medication administration as appropriate.
You will also educate patients and document patient interactions.
Practice infection control.
Additionally, you will contribute to the team as necessary to ensure quality patient care within your own scope of practice.
Required Qualifications:
Registered Nursing Degree from an Accredited School of Nursing
Active California RN license
American Heart Association BLS, ACLS and PALS Healthcare Provider Certifications
1 year of recent adult emergency services experience
Be able to speak, read and follow instructions in English
Have excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrate positive behaviors
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in nursing
CEN – Certified Emergency Nursing
