What to expect at the visits?
Spending only 30 minutes of computer-based brain training three times a week (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings) for a total of 12 weeks.
We are offering this brain training at no cost for a study funded by the National Institutes of Health to show that following this short amount of brain training, most cognitive skills improve remarkably.
Three different brain training exercises are being studied.
We will be providing a 2-hour assessment of working memory, attention, processing speed, and reading proficiency at the beginning and end of the brain training.
We will also be providing free pre- and post-training brain imaging sessions for a subset of participants at the UCSD MEG Center.
Are there any costs associated with participating in this study? There will be no cost to you for participating in this study.
Where will the visits be done? Brain Training at Perception Dynamics Institute, Solana Beach, CA 92075, and Brain Imaging at the UCSD Atkinson Hall/Qualcomm Institute.
