Skyhawks is actively hiring Youth Sports Coaches in our San Diego region.
If you have a passion for sports and want to have a positive impact on local youth, then this is the role for you! These coaching roles are part time and we can work around your school or other work schedules to customize a working situation that best fits what you’re looking for.

com/staff/application/ We are looking for candidates who can work in at least one of the following locations: _North Clairemont, Pacific Beach, Ocean Beach, Chula Vista, Greater San Diego_ *Work Schedule* _All staff are expected to commit to the full duration of assigned programs:_ * _*Summer/Fall/Winter/Spring Class Sessions*_ _- You will be assigned to multiple classes that take place during afternoons, evenings and weekends typically once per week over four to eight weeks between 2:30pm - 7:30pm_ * _*Summer Camp Season*_ _- You are assigned to one or more camp formats per week that typically take place Monday through Friday 9am-12pm, 1-4pm or 9am-4pm_ *Benefits/Perks* * _Entry-level Program Coach roles available_ * _In the Future, Program Director roles available to those looking to grow as leaders_ * _Work with kids in sports - The best job you will ever have!_ * _Varied work locations throughout your community_ * _Flexible work schedule_ * _Summer Camp Season - Get weekends off!_ * _Winter/Spring/Fall Seasons - We work around your school or other work schedule!_ * _Free First Aid/CPR/AED certification and Positive Coaching Alliance certification_ * _Paid training_ *Job Responsibilities* _As a Program Coach, you will:_ * _Be a great communicator and work closely with your Program Director and fellow coaches_ * _Assist with program planning and implementation_ * _Help setup equipment and prepare participant giveaways_ * _Lead instruction with a group of participants throughout the entirety of the program_ *Qualifications* * _A high-energy, enthusiastic demeanor_ * _Multi-sport background preferred_ * _Experience with kids ages 2-7 preferred_ * _Flexible and adaptable_ * _Responsible and committed to following through on assignment_ * _Some experience working with kids (not required)_ * _Some experience coaching youth sports (not required)_ * _Some supervisory experience (not required)_ * _Desire to build experience developing youth and/or teaching sports_ * _A passion for and interest in developing leadership skills_ *Company Overview* _With over 40 years of offering skill-based sports opportunities for children, Skyhawks is best known for beginner to intermediate instruction that helps build confidence in young players preparing them for their next step in sports.
