Preschool Teacher Assistant / Classroom Aide

Candidates will be working with children ages 2-5 throughout the day.
They will help maintain a clean classroom environment that stimulates learning in fun, hands-on ways.
Candidates will support the other teachers in supervision and care of the children.
Candidates will develop written lesson plans, assist with assessments, communicate with families and implement our philosophy and purpose in all they do.

Paul's Preschool is a School and Church Ministry where staff work together to develop young children academically, socially, emotionally and spiritually.
Candidates will be working with children ages 2-5 throughout the day.
They will help maintain a clean classroom environment that stimulates learning in fun, hands-on ways.
Candidates will support the other teachers in supervision and care of the children.
Candidates will develop written lesson plans, assist with assessments, communicate with families and implement our philosophy and purpose in all they do.
Candidates will become integral in the success of our school! Qualifications: *Candidates for our teaching positions should be excellent in working with young children ages 2-5 *Can create engaging learning experiences for groups of 6-12 children *Have a positive and supportive attitude that translates to relationships with the children, their families and coworkers *Have completed 12 or more core early childhood units, possess a CD permit, AA or higher degree *Have 1-3 years or more experience in the early childhood setting *Must submit to fingerprint clearance, provide proof of good health and immunizations Responsibilities: *Positions are from Aug 16, 2023- June 14, 2023 with the exception of school breaks and holidays per our school calendar.
An option to teach in Summer 2024 is available *Hours are 8am-5pm (2 positions as a teacher Assistant) and 8:15am-12:15pm (1 position as a Classroom Aide) *These positions are a support role where there is collaboration with another teacher to maintain the classroom environment, do some lesson plans,supervise groups of children, etc.
in accordance to Title 22 standards for Licensed Childcare facilities.
*Must attend staff trainings, staff development events and after hours program events as requested.
Benefits: * Two 40 hour positions include; paid holidays, health coverage and sick pay *One 20 hour position includes; sick pay.
Salary $16.
5 - $18.
