Experienced Preschool Teacher

We are looking for a qualified Preschool Teacher to prepare young students (2-5 year old) for the next level in their education.
A preschool teacher must have a great love and patience for children.
Qualifications needed to teach them effectively include knowledge of best practices, lesson planning and preschool educational methods as well as the ability to engage them and earn their trust and attention.
The goal is to contribute to the healthy mental and emotional development of the child so they can more easily acclimate in the next level of education.
*Responsibilities:* 1.
Plan and teach bible-based curriculum (ABeka) within the guidelines of the Director and school policy and philosophy.
2.
Develop and maintain a portfolio on each child in their care.
3.
Ensure proper supervision of their students both inside the classroom and during outside play.
4.
Preschool teacher is responsible for the classroom environment including arrangement, appearance, safety and décor of the classroom, as well as maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards.
5.
The teacher will attend all staff meetings and recommended training programs, professional conferences and workshops.
6.
Ensure open communication with parents and arrange parent conferences.
7.
Communicate with Director regularly and ensures church and school policies are observed.
*Qualifications:* 1.
Two (2) years minimum preschool teaching experience.
2.
Teaching skills and people and/or process skills.
3.
Good communication skills.
4.
Ability to read, understand and present the prescribed curriculum and school requirements and policies.
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from parents, regulatory agencies or staff members.
5.
Demonstrate the ability to accept and carry out responsibilities and make competent, professional decisions.
Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.
