PART TIME Instructor English Writing for Bonsall, CA

We are seeking an experienced English Writing instructors to join our team! As an Elementary English Writing afterschool instructor you will be responsible for organizing curriculum for with diverse activities and methods that cover creative speaking, writing, and comprehending the English language.
As an Elementary Math afterschool instructor, you will be responsible for organizing curriculum for with diverse activities and methods that promote understanding of math concepts in a fun and engaging way.
You will create lesson plans for the students and evaluate their progress.
The ideal candidate is able to motivate students and build positive relationships with parents and students.
Responsibilities: Prepare classroom and course materials Create a supportive and positive classroom environment Maintain records of student attendance and progress Inform parents about student progress Qualifications: Relevant Bachelor's Degree or Some college credits required.
Previous experience as an English teacher or in a similar role is preferred Knowledge of ESL teaching methods a plus Excellent verbal and written communication skills A calm, engaging and patient personality Provide individualized support and tutoring to students as needed Knowledge of curriculum development and instructional strategies for mathematics and creative English writing - Familiarity with special education accommodations and strategies for students with diverse learning needs (desired) - Experience in classroom management - Previous experience in tutoring or providing additional academic support (desired) We offer competitive salary commensurate with experience.
