*Responsibilities:*
* Develop and implement a thoughtful and creative curriculum tailored to the needs of preschool-aged children.
* Utilize Montessori educational techniques to engage children in learning activities.
* Conduct ongoing observations of each child to assess their social competencies and support their self-esteem development.
* Foster a collaborative and interactive environment where children are encouraged to engage with one another and resolve conflicts constructively.
* Guide children in developing their artistic and practical skills through a structured curriculum encompassing activities such as identifying shapes, numbers, and colors and engaging in crafts.
* Supervise nap and snack times, ensuring the safety and well-being of all children in the classroom.
* Monitor and track children's progress, providing regular updates and reports to parents on their developmental milestones.
* Maintain open communication with parents to gain insights into each child's background and tailor educational approaches accordingly.
* Collaborate effectively with fellow educators to enhance the learning experience and promote a cohesive classroom environment.
* Ensure the classroom environment is clean, organized, and consistently complies with health and safety standards.
*Skills:*
* *Must-Have: 12 Child Development Units.

* *MUST be fluent in English and Spanish.

* Thorough understanding of Montessori principles of child development and preschool educational methodologies.
* Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for preschool classrooms, ensuring a secure and hygienic learning environment.
* Excellent communication and instructional skills, conveying complex concepts clearly and engagingly tailored to young learners.
* Strong mediation skills to facilitate positive interactions and conflict resolution among children.
* Possesses a calm, friendly, and dependable demeanor, fostering a supportive and nurturing classroom atmosphere.
* Ability to balance creativity and practicality, incorporating innovative teaching methods while adhering to educational objectives.
* *Must have a Certification in child CPR, ensuring preparedness to respond to any emergencies involving children.
