*Job Summary*
The Golf Professional promotes the game of golf through operational structure and programming that provides a "first class" environment for Members and guests.
They develop all golf operations department budget, including forecasts, to see that all financial goals are met.
*Day-to-Day*
* Responsible for all golf operations at the Club, including, golf carts, bag room, locker room, golf shop, special tournaments and Member/Guest events.
* Responsible for hiring, training and developing all staff.
* Develop aggressive Golf revenue sales, marketing and net revenue plans and direct successful implementation, following established ClubCorp budgeting and revenue guidelines.
*About You*
* Minimum of 3 years as a Golf Professional.
* College degree preferred.
* PGA/LPGA Profession Certification completion required.
* Proven track record of team management, organizational and coaching skills.
* Comprehensive knowledge of expense control as it relates to payroll and the forecasting and budgeting of expenses.
* Experience with tee sheets and inventory systems.

Duties:
- Provide golf instruction to individuals and groups of all ages and skill levels
- Develop and implement lesson plans and training programs
- Conduct golf clinics and workshops
- Assist with golf club fittings and equipment recommendations
- Organize and coordinate golf tournaments and events
- Maintain a clean and organized golf shop
- Provide excellent customer service to members and guests
```Experience:```
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Golf Professional or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of golf rules, etiquette, and techniques
- PGA or LPGA certification preferred
- Experience working with diverse populations and age groups
Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to provide clear and concise instruction
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Knowledge of golf club repair and maintenance
- Proficient in using golf-related software and technology
